About GraceList

GraceList is a local generosity board for the San Diego area. We have some of the nicest people who give away great stuff all the time. Hoping this platform helps make that connection easier. People post things they need and things they can give as offerings. No money changes hands. The idea is simple: a neighbor asks, a neighbor gives. We cap wishes at 3 per person so the board stays honest — think about your 3 wishes wisely 😄 Offerings are unlimited. This is an early release — we hope it works and grows. If it doesn't, it stays small and useful for our great neighborhoods. Either way is fine. With love, B&G — Questions: info@gracelistsd.com

Safety

GraceList is built on trust between neighbors. Trust still needs common sense. A few ground rules: Meet in public when you can. Coffee shops, parking lots, the library — somewhere with people around. Save home pickups for things you can't move. Trust your gut. If something feels off, walk away. You don't owe anyone an explanation. Bring a friend. Especially for first meetings or bigger items. Tell someone where you're going. Don't share your address until you're sure. Use a meet-up spot first. Never send money. GraceList is free. If anyone asks for cash, a deposit, or a fee, they don't belong here. Flag them. Inspect before you commit. Look things over. Plug them in. Check for damage. We can't guarantee anything works as described. Be honest. About what you have, what you need, and what shape it's in. Honesty is what keeps this thing alive. Look out for each other. Especially the elderly, the new-to-town, anyone in a hard spot. Be patient. Be gentle. Flag what's wrong. If a post is unsafe, deceptive, or breaks the spirit of the board, hit the flag. We read every one. Questions or concerns: info@gracelistsd.com

Terms

GraceList is a free community noticeboard. The rules are short: We don't take a cut. No money flows through GraceList. We don't hold deposits, escrow funds, or charge fees. If anyone here asks you for money, they're breaking the rules. You're responsible for your own choices. We're a noticeboard, not a referee. We don't verify users, inspect items, or guarantee anything. Use your judgment. Be honest. Don't be a jerk. No spam, no scams, no harassment, no hate speech, nothing illegal, no commercial sales. Posts that break these rules — or the spirit of the board — will be removed. What you post is public. Your name, location, and contact info are visible to anyone visiting the site. Share only what you're comfortable making public. 3-wish cap. Each person can have up to 3 active wishes at a time. Offerings are unlimited. We can remove posts. If a post is unsafe, deceptive, or out of line with what GraceList is for, we'll take it down. No appeal process — this is a neighborhood board, not a courtroom. This is an MVP. Built by neighbors, free to use, no warranty. We may tweak how it works as we learn. Questions or problems: info@gracelistsd.com
